The Taubman Approach for Piano

The Taubman Approach for piano is the result of decades worth of research started by Dorothy Taubman and continued to this day by Edna Golandsky into the healthy technique of virtuoso pianists and biomechanics. It has helped many thousands of pianists who have wanted to:

  • address technical limitations
  • play with freedom and ease
  • retrain because of pain, injury or a total breakdown of the hands when playing the piano

If you feel

  • limited at the piano either musically or technically
  • suffer from pain and fatigue when you play the piano
  • have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel, RSI, ganglia or some other playing related issue
  • want to play with freedom, ease and virtuosity

then the Taubman Approach can help.

As well as retraining pianists, Anthony uses the Approach in every lesson with his students and teaches other piano teachers how to pass on healthy technique to their students.
